Blaide Express
Searching
Use the fast and convenient system wide search box to quickly find all Blaide items related to a client. The search will list all jobs, tasks, events, contacts etc. related to the client name entered. You can also use the powerful search utility to bring up items with particular keywords within them.
Client Card
Load a client's card to view all details and information related to the client. View information such as VAT Numbers, client status, identification details etc. You can also check who referred the client to you and whether the client is under an active retainer.
Quickly view lists of related contact persons and jobs. You can also view a list of transactions that were performed on behalf of this client account and get reports for the time recorded for jobs belonging to the client.
New Job Wizard
Creating a new job for a client is fast and easy. Simply select the Job Type and the appropriate template will be applied. This template will automatically setup any important deadlines and tasks and will also build the correct folder structure upon your file server.
At this point you can also choose to delegate the job to a colleague and to restrict access to certain users.
Blaide Professional
Job Card
Everything in Blaide revolves around its powerful Job Cards. Immediately start linking deadlines, reminders, tasks, appointments, documents and emails to a job or use preconfigured templates to do this for you automatically. All job items are shared between users with access to the job making a Job Card an excellent collaboration platform.
Users can also maintain check lists of pending activities and view job progress using the visual Work Flow. Customisation is also possible with users building their own tabs and fields.
Job Work Flow
The work flow scans the current job for all deadlines, important dates, tasks, appointments and resource requests while plotting them along a visual timeline.
This allows users to quickly see the work carried out for this job in the past and upcoming work in the future.
In addition to this deadlines and tasks that have been completed are indicated clearly upon the work flow.
Shared Calendar
Synchronise your Blaide Calendar with your Outlook Calendar and have access to all your appointments from within the Blaide interface. From here you can share appointments with colleagues and link appointments to jobs. Further more you can have Blaide automatically reserve time for tasks on your calendar and then convert reserved time to billable time within your timesheet.
At the bottom of each calendar day Blaide will also list due tasks and job deadlines.
Document / Email Management
Organise your file server by linking all documents related to a job under the corresponding Job Card. Use document templates to create new documents directly from within Blaide and record the time you spend on each document. Job templates can also be used to build the appropriate folder structure according to the Job Type.
Also file Emails directly under each job card to enable collaboration and email archiving. The attachments from each email will also be saved directly upon your file server.
Tasks
Manage pending work by assigning tasks to yourself and your colleagues. View tasks lists to follow up pending tasks and link tasks to job cards or job milestones.
Automatically record the time that you spend on each task using the stopwatch.
Finally use Blaide to suggest your availability or that of your colleagues during task scheduling and automatically reserve the time upon the relevant calendars.
Job Milestones
A job milestone is any important date related to a job. These can be deadlines, target dates, past dates, anniversaries and any other important date. A timeline is built as milestones are added and the appropriate reminders and warnings are issued.
Milestone templates can be created to specify how many days before you would like to receive a reminder and whether a related deadline should be set in the future.
Blaide Timesheets
Time Recorder
Simple time tracking! Start, pause and stop a timer while working upon your daily tasks. Once done quickly link to a Job and post into your timesheet. This is great for recording time spent on phone calls and emails.
Integration with the document manager will show a timer each time a document is opened or created, and integration with the tasks manager will bring up a timer for each task due.
Calendar Overlay
As you record time spent on jobs, a green overlay is plotted on your calendar. This allows you to quickly review time recorded over the last few days and detect any untracked gaps. It also allows you to compare your planned time to your actual time. Managers will love this feature as they can quickly overlay a colleagues timesheet upon their calendar, or even view the timesheets of an entire team.
Have any unbilled areas on your calendar - simply right-click and choose to add the time to your timesheet!
Timesheet Summary
Need more detailed information regarding your daily, weekly or monthly timesheet - simply load the timesheet summary. Filter time based upon billing status, date ranges, clients, jobs and time keeper. View sub totals for each timekeeper and job before drilling down to see naratives and actual start and end times.
The summary will also compare the actual recorded time and amounts to the billable time and amounts, allowing users to gauge productivity and their real billing rate.
